For a comprehensive list of benefits, please click here: Benefits | CoxHealth Job Summary The Document Imaging Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring the accurate and timely indexing of patient records into the CoxHealth Electronic Medical Record System. The ideal candidate will possess a strong attention to detail and adhere to HIPAA guidelines and regulations while staying updated with compliance standards for document handling. This may include but is not limited to ensuring the correct document types, patient names, dates, and locations. A Document Imaging Specialist would show proficiency in the use of our electronic medical record software as well as our indexing software to facilitate the flow of records into the patient’s chart. Job Requirements Education Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent Experience Preferred: Previous clerical and computer experience Skills Expert knowledge of the computer. Proficient with spreadsheet and database applications. Dependable and Self-Directed. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Licensure/Certification/Registration N/A
