Job Description Job Description DESKTOP SUPPORT TECHNICIAN Job Summary: We are urgently seeking an experienced Desktop Support Technician for a long-term, part-time onsite role in Hebron, KY. The technician will be required to work onsite every Tuesday and Thursday , supporting end-user computing needs in a professional environment. Key Responsibilities: Provide Level 1/2 support for desktops, laptops, peripherals, and mobile devices Perform installations, configurations, and routine maintenance of Windows-based systems Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues Support end-user requests and service tickets promptly and professionally Coordinate with remote support teams for escalation or additional troubleshooting Maintain accurate documentation and follow SOPs Ensure all tasks comply with client security and quality standards Mandatory Requirements: Proven experience in desktop/desk side support roles Strong technical troubleshooting and customer service skills Reliable transportation and punctuality for scheduled onsite days Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Preferred Qualifications: Experience supporting Windows 10/11 and Microsoft Office products Familiarity with Active Directory, printer setups, and remote desktop tools IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A, MCP) are a plus All candidates are encouraged to apply, but many positions require a strict drug and background check by our customers.
