Production Engineer

Production Engineer required for Cheltenham based manufacturing company paying c£39,000 25 days holiday the bank holidays, pension and DiS. Working hours Monday to Friday, with an early finish on a Friday. Our client supplies to the automotive, aerospace, gas sectors as well as small independent companies. As Production Engineer for this company your duties will include the following: improving manufacturing methods of existing products liaising with manufacturing for new products investigating and implementing actions with regards to the quality of products involvement in R&D projects to ensure our client maintains their standard within the market design of tool, fixtures and machine parts using SolidWorks 3D CAD system generating CNC programmes using SolidCAM software and supporting implementation providing technical support to the sales department as required tooling development creating costing models to support new business generation investigate any operational problems that impact production efficiency's The successful Production Engineer will need to have experience in the following areas: 5S initiatives in manufacturing and machine build previous experience within a manufacturing/engineering environment experience of using SolidWorks and SolidCAM and be able to generate CNC programs usoing SolidCAM software If you are a Production Engineer looking for a role where you can make a difference and want to work with a strong committed team of people, then we would love to hear from you.
