We have partnered with an ambitious engineering consultancy to help them identify a lead for their new Cheltenham office, as the business continues its ambitious growth path. Having recently doubled the size of their head office, the next step of their strategy is to establish a new office in Cheltenham. Were looking for an ambitious Structural Engineer to lead this new venturesomeone eager to grow a team, shape the culture, and become a key figure in the future of their consultancy. This is a rare opportunity to take on a leadership role from day one. As the driving force behind their Cheltenham office, youll play a crucial part in developing a local presence, supported by a well-established senior leadership team. Youll work on a diverse portfolio of ranging from luxury houses, to apartment blocks and commercial offices. With autonomy and backing, youll lead, inspire, and grow your own teammaking your mark both within the company and across the region. Were seeking a Structural Engineer with a hunger for leadership, business development, and project delivery. Youll be confident in managing client relationships, guiding a growing team, and delivering technically robust designs. Opportunities for CPD, industry engagement, and thought leadership. What You Need To Succeed Extensive experience delivering building structures projects with residential and commercial sectors. A track record of managing client relationships and leading project teams. Strong technical skills in structural design and relevant software (e.g. Tekla, Tedds, MasterSeries). A natural leader with the ability to recruit, mentor, and grow a high-performing team. Excellent communication skills with a collaborative, proactive mindset. Commercial awareness and confidence in contributing to business development. Ambition to be part of a growing consultancy with a long-term vision. Desire and commitment to work towards Chartership with ICE or IStructE. MEng or BEng in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
