Run what runs the world This Position reports to: Service Team Leader Your Role and Responsibilities With your technical expertise and years of experience, you play a crucial role in supporting our industrial clients. As a Senior Field Service Engineer Drives, you are the key point of contact on-site, ensuring that installations perform at their best. You independently carry out commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance tasks – using your knowledge not only to solve issues but also to introduce preventive improvements. Thanks to your experience, you are able to advise clients and mentor colleagues, making you an essential link within our service team. You’ll work directly with a variety of customers across different industries, offering both variety and technically challenging projects. Your Responsibilities Independently install and commission frequency converters (drives). Perform complex troubleshooting and fault analysis. Implement digital services such as remote monitoring and predictive maintenance. Carry out preventive maintenance and suggest optimizations. Provide technical advice to clients to improve reliability and efficiency. Coordinate and lead colleagues and subcontractors on-site. Ensure accurate reporting and documentation. Identify improvement opportunities and support the sales team. Your Background What do you bring? A technical education at MBO or HBO level, preferably in electromechanics, energy technology, or industrial automation. Extensive experience in an industrial or technical service role. Strong analytical skills and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset. Excellent communication skills and experience in client interaction and advising. Leadership and coordination skills – you're able to manage teams and partners on-site effectively. Willingness to work flexibly, including participation in on-call duty. Fluent in Dutch and English.
