About the role We are seeking a Marketing Data Analyst to join our Marketing team in Milan, playing a key strategic role in data interpretation and advanced analytics. This position operates at the intersection of Marketing and Tech, with the mission to ensure data accuracy , unlock actionable insights , and support data-driven decision making across channels, brand partners, and ventures. Key responsibilities Ensure the quality, consistency, and reliability of all collected data, and guarantee they’re correctly visualized across platforms (GA4, dashboards, BI tools) for reporting needs. Monitor tracking anomalies on GA4, escalate technical issues to the Tech team, and support their resolution. Configure and maintain custom GA4 reports to analyze website performance and user interactions, and extract strategic insights. Partner with Brand Marketing and Channels teams to set up advanced analysis frameworks and test alternative attribution models. Research, propose, and contribute to the implementation of predictive models, including customer segmentation and behaviors, using machine learning and statistical algorithms. Collaborate with Tech team to develop and manage dashboards, integrating GA4 events and performance metrics for deep insights into user journeys and conversion funnels. Encourage data literacy through training sessions and documentation. Qualifications 3 years of experience in data analysis, preferably in marketing, e-commerce, or digital environments. Educational background in Data Science, Economics, Data Analysis, or related fields. Strong command of GA4 and digital analytics tools; experience with BigQuery and Google Tag Manager is a plus. Familiarity with data visualization and BI tools (Power BI, Looker Studio, Tableau). Understanding of marketing performance metrics, attribution models, and user behavior analytics. Proactive mindset, attention to detail, and ability to translate complex data into insights for non-technical stakeholders. Experience with predictive modeling, statistical methods, and machine learning techniques is highly valued. Proficiency in Italian and English.
