We are seeking an IT Service Management Specialist for our Naples office, the Group’s major service delivery center. Given your background and skills, you could be a great fit. The IT Service Management Specialist will report to the IT Fleet Director Team and support MSC Cruises in IT Infrastructure Project Management within a dynamic and growing IT department. Key Accountabilities Lead incident and problem management efforts, ensuring prompt resolution of IT issues. Serve as the communication focal point for incidents, keeping stakeholders informed about status and resolutions. Act as incident lead during outages, coordinating responses to minimize downtime and operational impact. Monitor critical services proactively, implementing strategies and tools for effective oversight and issue prevention. Provide regular reports on IT operations and incident management. Extend support hours to ships during weekends and nights to address IT issues promptly. Identify opportunities for service and process improvements, driving initiatives to enhance efficiency and reliability in maritime IT operations. Work during weekends and nights on a rotational basis. Travel up to 20% of the time. Qualifications Bachelor's degree or diploma in computer science, engineering, or related field. 3-5 years of experience in IT service management and infrastructure, preferably in the cruise industry. Strong knowledge of networking, operating systems, virtualization, and cloud services; familiarity with microservices architecture, database administration, or monitoring tools is a plus. Experience with Incident Management, ITIL, or similar frameworks. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills in English; additional languages are advantageous.
