Ensure a safe work environment for all employees, vendors, and clients in compliance with safety policies and standards. Maintain clean work areas and adhere to PPE requirements. Supervision and Quotations: Supervise employees, conduct performance reviews, manage hiring and discipline, and determine compensation. Promote standard jobs, RBOMs, and repair bill of materials. Manage design and use of standard jobs and quotations, prioritize models for standard jobs, and collaborate with customer service and sales teams to ensure accurate, timely quotes. Assemble and lead standard job teams for heavy equipment and truck engines, and hold quarterly meetings to standardize repair descriptions. Analysis, Procedures, and Training: Develop and update standard job lists, procedures, and training materials. Create flat rate analyses and performance metrics. Collaborate with teams to identify opportunities for certified rebuilds and provide proactive pricing. Monitor standard job utilization and ensure correct coding using reports. Stay updated on software changes, participate in team meetings, and promote safety standards. Support strategic programs and initiatives as needed. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Ability to learn new software, manage priorities, communicate effectively, and use Microsoft products. Knowledge of Caterpillar equipment and ability to develop effective relationships. Maintain consistent attendance. Education and Experience: High school diploma or GED required. At least five years of heavy equipment service technician experience with increasing responsibility. Knowledge of service software. Supervisory experience preferred. Must be able to communicate in English. Physical Characteristics: Ability to sit, stand, walk, climb stairs, reach, push, pull, lean, and twist. Meet safety requirements.
