Job Description Job Description Seeking Full-Time, Commercial Experienced, Journeyman Electrician Service Technician Pay: Up to $40.00 /hour – weekly payroll earnings Service Truck and Company Phone provided Hours: 7:00am – 3:30pm Location: Various, around the Dallas Metroplex Office Address: 2626 Electronic Lane Dallas, TX 75220 Job Requirements:  General Construction Experience  Valid State of Texas Journeyman License  Texas Driver’s License and clean driving record  Communication in English  Ability to pass drug screen and background check  Must have basic mechanical aptitude, mathematical, and English language skills.  Understand basic electrical theory and its application to installations.  Must be able to work occasional overtime as required.  Tools! Must have and maintain your own tools Duties and Responsibilities Journeyman/Service Tech: Needed to provide service for our commercial/retail clients. * Ideal candidates must have multiple skill sets ranging from electrical troubleshooting, maintenance, and/or repair.  Plans out daily work and prepares materials for installation.  Knowledgeable of underground layout and rough-in.  Measures, cuts, bends, threads, assembles and installs electrical conduit using measuring devices, hand tools, threaders and hand or mechanical benders.  Proficient at feeder installations, switchgear installations and terminations.  Installation and connection of power supply wiring, cables, conduit, and electrical apparatus in new and existing facilities following diagrams, schematics, or blueprints.  Troubleshooting and resolving problems in electrical circuits, systems, and equipment.  Operating hand tools and equipment necessary to perform tasks.  Performing misc. project related duties and/or assignments instructed by supervisor.  Complying with company policies and procedures. Brian is now phasing out of everyday operations and entrusting his daughter, Meredith, to continue to grow what they’ve built. What started as a one-man operation has grown into a company of 100 field employees. While specializing in commercial projects, Able Electric Service, Inc. also has considerable experience in industrial, voice/data/video cabling, and design/build work with CAD and electrical engineering capabilities.
