Technical Sales Engineer

The strategically important Technical Sales Engineer role comes with a salary of up to £40,000, annual bonus and excellent training opportunities. Please note that our client is currently only accepting applications from candidates living within the UK and there are no sponsorship options available currently Responsibilities and duties of the Technical Sales Engineer role Reporting to the Managing Director, you will: Acting as the main liaison between External Sales, Customers and Production Use of in-house pump selection and pipework sizing software to specify pumps, macerators and grinders to suit customers' requirements Use of Salesforce and ProAlpha ERP system for managing the Enquiry - Equipment Selection - Quote - Order - Delivery process Collaborate with design department to develop solutions for non-standard applications Occasional site visits to support External Sales personnel and customers Provide technical and operational support to Spare Parts Sales and Service Dept. as required To be within commutable distance of the head office in Crewe Other duties as required Professional qualifications We are looking for someone with the following: A recognised Engineering qualification/certificate is preferred or proven technical experience UK Driving Licence Personal skills The Technical Sales Engineer role would suit someone who has: Strong technical understanding of positive displacement pumps and pipework systems Experience of technical sales Knowledge of Wastewater, Biogas and / or Agriculture sectors Strong commercial awareness Salary and benefits of the Technical Sales Engineer role A starting salary of between £30,000 to £40,000 (depending on experience) Annual bonus scheme Excellent training opportunities The opportunity to work with an industry leading business with the Biogas, Water Treatment and Agriculture sector INDREN Astute People are acting as an employment agency in relation to this vacancy.
