Contract Maintenance Engineer - Late Shift (2pm-10pm) Location: Suffolk Shift: Monday - Friday, 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM Contract: 3-6 months (potential to extend) Rate: £36ph umbrella Are you an experienced Maintenance Engineer looking for your next contract role? We're seeking a skilled engineer to support a busy manufacturing facility in Suffolk on the late shift. This is a great opportunity to join a well-established team and make an immediate impact. Key Responsibilities: Carrying out reactive and planned maintenance on production machinery Troubleshooting mechanical and electrical faults Working to minimize downtime and support continuous production Ensuring all work is completed in line with health & safety regulations Reporting and documenting work carried out using CMMS systems What We're Looking For: Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer in a manufacturing or industrial setting Multi-skilled (mechanical/electrical), ideally with a recognised engineering qualification (e.g., NVQ, BTEC, City & Guilds) Confident working independently during the late shift Strong fault-finding skills and a proactive approach to maintenance Why Join Us?
