Mechanical Design Engineer

Were looking for a talented Mechanical Design Engineer to take ownership of mechanical elements in project design packages within the gas and petrochemical sector. The Role As Mechanical Design Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping designs from concept through to commissioning, delivering robust, innovative, and cost-effective solutions aligned with client and industry standards. Key Responsibilities: Lead mechanical design from concept to commissioning. Deliver detailed design packs to client specs within project hours. Convert user requirements into design documentation. Produce BOMs, test packages, manuals, and manufacturing docs. Ensure compliance with QA systems and ISO 9001. Requirements: Qualifications: HNC/HND or 10 years in Mechanical Design. BEng/MEng preferred. Experience & Knowledge: Strong background in structured design environments. Full project lifecycle experience. Knowledge of National Grid G17/G35 and Gas Network Standards. ATEX/IECEx design experience desirable. Experience in gas/petrochemical sector essential. Familiarity with metering, sampling, and integration systems. Skilled in both conceptual and detailed design.
