Job Title: Vice President, Customer Success Department: Customer Success & Strategy Reports to: Deputy CEO Location: Paris Languages Required: Fluent in English and French Our client is a global leader in Geospatial Artificial Intelligence in both enterprise and defense. The company develops AI solutions to process and exploit large data flows from seabed to space to support analysts in detecting and understanding events of interest. Job Purpose The Vice President of Customer Success is responsible for defining and leading the customer success strategy atour client The role ensures customer satisfaction, loyalty, and long-term success by maximizing the value customers derive from our client's products and services. This position is critical to driving customer retention, revenue growth, and strengthening the company’s reputation across global markets. Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership : Develop and implement a global customer success strategy aligned with the company’s overall objectives. Team Management : Build, lead, and mentor the Customer Success team. Oversee recruitment, training, performance management, and development. Customer Engagement : Serve as a strategic advisor and primary point of contact for key accounts. Foster long-term relationships built on trust, transparency, and measurable value delivery. Pre-Sales & Tender Support : Lead the preparation of customer-facing proposals and responses to RFPs in collaboration with sales, technical, and product teams. Customer Insight & Success Planning : Understand customer goals, challenges, and workflows to tailor solutions that enhance satisfaction and outcomes. Cross-functional Collaboration : Work closely with sales, AI, software engineering, expert teams, and program managers to ensure a consistent and integrated customer experience. Performance Measurement : Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor customer satisfaction, product adoption, and retention. Customer Growth & Expansion : Identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and new use cases to increase account value. Customer Enablement : Design and implement customer onboarding, training, and education programs to improve adoption and long-term engagement. Data-Driven Improvement : Analyze customer feedback and usage data to identify trends, root causes of dissatisfaction, and areas for continuous improvement. Scope & Decision-Making Authority The VP of Customer Success has full responsibility for designing and executing the customer success strategy. This includes strategic decision-making on processes, resource allocation, team structure, and customer-centric initiatives. The role has high visibility within the organization and significant influence on revenue and reputation outcomes. Professional Qualifications & Experience Master’s degree in Product Management, Business, Marketing, or a related field. Proven track record of leading high-performing customer success or account management teams in a technology or AI-driven environment. Deep understanding of customer success principles, lifecycle management, and customer relationship strategies. Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing complex customer accounts. Bilingual: Fluent in both English and French. Reporting Line & Key Interfaces Reports directly to the Deputy CEO , a member of the Executive Committee. Works in close collaboration with: Sales & Business Development Teams Customer Support Managers & Customer Support Experts Head of Bidding Head of Sales Artificial Intelligence & Software Development Teams Technical Experts & Program Managers
