Job Description

Savaré , worldwide technology leader in Adhesive Specialty Chemicals, due to its footprint expansion is looking for a : SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGER with a passion for technology innovation and successful project execution, to oversee strategic supply chain planning and execution across its operations in Europe , USA , and Korea / Japan . Job Responsibilities : a) act as a key liaison with customers and internal teams , ensuring alignment between operational capabilities and customer expectations; b) conduct on-site visits to assess and improve service levels ; c) liaise with the commercial teams to ensure alignment with Sales Plan. Production Planning & Scheduling : a) develop and implement a robust production planning process; b) coordinate capacity planning and material availability , proactively managing constraints and adjustment;. c) support production teams in optimizing daily schedules to improve efficiency and ensuring accurate promise-to-customer dates . Material Planning & Inventory Management : a) execute and Analyse MRP leveraging the Bill of Materials (BoM) provided by the R&D teams, minimizing financial impact during product transitions; b) oversee inventory targets , balancing cost, service levels, and operational efficiency . Logistics & Supply Chain Optimization : a) drive best-in-class inbound and outbound logistics performance , ensuring efficiency and cost-effectiveness; b) partner with operations, procurement, and commercial teams to optimize supply chain design and execution . Performance Monitoring & KPIs : a) develop and maintain supply chain performance dashboards , tracking KPIs on forecast accuracy, delivery performance and inventory levels; b) lead data-driven decision-making processes , presenting insights to Operations and Commercial Teams. ERP & Digital Transformation : a) play the champion role to support the enhancement and adoption of existing ERP system , ensuring seamless integration with supply chain operations; b) ensure supply chain parameters in the ERP system are correctly maintained and reviewed. Manage direct and indirect reports in logistics, customer service and planning and r eport to the Operation Director. Key Qualifications and Skills : Education : Master’s degree in Management or Chemical Engineering. Experience : 5 years'hands-on experience in manufacturing settings, ideally in the chemical industry, with a proven track record of increasing responsibilities. Technical Skills : knowledge of supply chain planning, inventory control, logistics and warehouse management. Process mindset, lean thinking principles and methodologies, knowledge of ERP systems. Soft Skills : Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a data-driven decision-making approach. Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams worldwide to achieve organizational goals. Servant leadership attitude. Proactive, dynamic, and passionate about driving operational excellence. Languages : High proficiency in English is required; good command of Italian.
