This hands-on, laboratory-based role is essential to supporting the development and manufacturing of APIs and key building blocks. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, synthesis, and characterization of organic compounds, contributing directly to process development, scale-up efforts, and R&D initiatives. Responsibilities Design and perform multi-step organic syntheses Purify and characterize compounds using techniques such as NMR, LC-MS, and HPLC Optimize synthetic routes and assist in scale-up Follow and enforce lab safety protocols Maintain instruments and manage lab operations, including inventory and supplies Handle and dispose of chemical waste in compliance with regulation Qualifications A bachelors of science or equivalent degree desired Previous experience working in a laboratory setting desired Strong attention to detail Excellent communication skills Proficiency with SciFinder, ChemDraw, Reaxys, and other chemistry-related software
