TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ICU/Critical Care RN in Birmingham, Alabama, 35211! Pay Information $1,688 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum years of experience not specified License: Active RN license Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) Must-Have: Experience in Cardiac Intensive Care Description: Interviews will follow an auto offer process with offers to be accepted or declined within 48 hours. Shift times are night shifts, 12 hours each. There are 36 hours per week guaranteed. Weekend work is required every other weekend. Floating as needed is required within your skillset. Common diagnosis and treatments include post cardiac catheterization, post-operative heart surgery, and unstable acute myocardial infarction (AMI). The unit has 12 beds. Nurse-to-patient ratios are typically 2:1, but 1:1 for immediate post-operative care, 1:1 for left ventricular assist devices (LVADs), and 1:2 for extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO). Charting is done using Epic software. Scrub color is navy blue. Areas of float support include the float pool.
