Group Accountant Location: Cheadle (Hybrid – 3 days office / 2 days home) Salary: £60,000–£65,000 10% Bonus Private Healthcare Pension 25 Days Holiday Take the lead on global group reporting — and step onto the path toward Finance Director. We’re working with a global, PE-backed tech-led business with £100m turnover and a footprint across multiple continents. With growing complexity and a high-performing finance team, they’re now looking to appoint a Group Accountant to own monthly group consolidations, manage the group audit , and support on tax, loans, and transfer pricing .This is more than a technical role — the hiring manager is openly looking to develop someone into their number two and eventual successor .What you’ll be doing: Consolidating results across 20–25 international subsidiaries (multi-entity, multi-currency) Leading monthly and year-end reporting under IFRS Managing the annual audit and statutory accounts prep Supporting the CFO and FD on tax planning, intercompany loans, and transfer pricing Using NetSuite and Lucanet to produce timely, accurate group reports Identifying ways to streamline and improve reporting processes What you’ll bring: A background in group finance within industry , ideally in a multi-national, multi-currency setting An ACA or ACCA qualification , with practice experience preferred Solid understanding of IFRS Experience with NetSuite, Lucanet, or similar consolidation/ERP tools The ambition to step into broader leadership over time Why this business?
