ERP Functional Consultant (Dynamics BC) -Freelance

We are a private equity and a part of Blackstone portfolio group of companies. The Adventure Join us as a Freelance Functional Consultant ERP within our ERP Competence Center. It is a Europe-wide role where you'll be part of a dynamic team responsible for implementing and enhancing our custom ERP system, OneTrade, based on Microsoft Business Central. This role is crucial as BME continues to expand into new markets across Europe, modernizing our ERP solution and ensuring that existing implementations remain innovative and effective. You will have an opportunity to make a significant impact in a growing team, driving forward the modernization and success of BME’s ERP systems across Europe . Key Responsibilities Business Requirement Analysis: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and translate business needs into ERP solutions. Focus on specific operations processes (such as supply chain, purchasing, sales) or financial processes. Solution Design & Configuration: Develop functional specifications and design technical configurations for ERP solutions. Ensure that these solutions align with best practices, standard templates, and are reusable across multiple markets. Implementation & Testing: Work closely with ERP developers to ensure that the technical solutions meet the functional requirements. Develop test cases, conduct initial testing, and validate the implementation's success. Training & Support: Provide end-user training and deliver Level 3 support to ensure smooth adoption and ongoing usage of the ERP solutions. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with market trends and innovations, actively contributing to the ongoing modernization of the ERP system. Advocate for best-of-breed solutions within the ERP ecosystem. Profile Experience: min. 3 years in rolling out ERP solutions, particularly Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or similar custom ERP systems. Technical Skills: Understanding of modern software development, including DevOps, AL and C/AL programming languages, SQL, and cloud infrastructure. Educational Background: A degree in computer science, business administration, or equivalent experience. Additional Skills: Experience with ERP modernization projects or familiarity with Microsoft PowerApps is a plus. Key Competencies Strong analytical skills with the ability to simplify complex processes. Pragmatic, customer-oriented mindset with a collaborative, open approach. Proven ability to manage ambiguity, prioritize tasks, and drive innovation. Enthusiastic team player with a passion for technology and ERP solutions.
