Material Handler III - Days

Schedule: Shift 401/Shift A Sun - Tue / Sun - Wed AM 6 am - 6 pm Shift 403/Shift C Wed - Sat / Thur - Sat AM 6 am - 6 pm JOB SUMMARY Working under minimal supervision, the Lead will act in the absence of the Supervisor. Responsible for ensuring accuracy in SAP at all times. The role requires performing at least three of the following jobs: RTS (Return to Stock), stockroom, cycle counts, WIP support, shipping, receiving inspection, or receiving. The Lead will reconcile inventory variances, report line record accuracy to Supervisors and Managers, and act as a liaison between Production Control, Production Management, and the Production line for inventory or shortage issues. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Stockroom / RTS: Put material away in the stockrooms using RF scanners in SAP and verify the associated transaction on the system. Pull kits and split them as required using the system-based kit pull procedure. Scan kits to the G drive and pull shortages to ensure completeness. Count all material returning from the line to ensure system accuracy. Maintain organized box build areas and ensure all kanbans are full of material. Perform other related duties as assigned, including physical and system movement of material, cycle counting, completing material disposition reports, and back-flushing material in the ERP system. Receiving: Follow ISO procedures for receiving, validate carton counts against bills of lading, and note exceptions. Sign for all material upon validation against bills of lading. Validate purchase orders, part numbers, quantities, and suppliers; complete receipts in the system. Perform de-trash shipments to eliminate waste. Follow inspection plans and special instructions for incoming materials, verify packing slips, and perform SAP transactions for inventory movements. Obtain and maintain IPC Standard-A-610 certification for Quality Control Inspection. Shipping: Follow ISO shipping procedures and documentation requirements for domestic and international shipments. Manage transportation carriers using company guidelines. Perform physical movements, system transactions, and verifications accurately and safely. Support month-end work for work cells, including extra hours as needed. Operate material handling equipment as required. JOB QUALIFICATIONS KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS Effective communication skills with managers, clients, and the public. Problem-solving, data collection, and analytical skills. Proficiency with Windows OS and related software, including Jabil’s packages. Basic writing skills, comprehension of visual aids, and ability to follow simple instructions.
