M&E Quantity Surveyor

We have an excellent opportunity for a M&E Quantity Surveyor to join a fast-growing contractor in Central London. This role is ideal for someone with 4-5 years’ experience and a drive to progress and grow with a company. About the company: Established company of 30 years that is now looking to skyrocket in the M&E London market. Originally based out of Bristol but now moving to central London with 4 projects already ongoing and many in the pipeline. This role: In this role, you will work closely with the Commercial Director, acting as the MEP counterpart, which will allow you to have a significant impact on the projects and the division’s overall success Key Responsibilities: Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for M&E projects, including labour, materials, equipment, and overhead costs. Develop, monitor, and manage project budgets, ensuring that costs are controlled and aligned with financial forecasts. Prepare and analyse tender documents, including bills of quantities, specifications, and contracts for M&E works. Prepare regular cost reports and forecasts to provide stakeholders with updates on project financial performance. Assist in the procurement of materials, labour, and subcontractors, negotiating terms and prices to optimize costs. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree: A degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is essential.
