Freelance Quantity Surveyor | Tier 1 Developer | Milton Keynes Location: Milton Keynes Rate: £300–£400 per day (Outside IR35, depending on experience) Start Date: Immediate ️ Project: £300m Major Residential & Infrastructure Scheme Focus: Groundworks & Infrastructure Packages A leading Tier 1 developer is urgently seeking a Freelance Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team on a landmark £300m development in Milton Keynes . You'll be working on the infrastructure and groundworks packages of the project, helping drive commercial performance during a crucial early phase of this high-profile scheme. ✅ Key Responsibilities: Management of groundworks and civils sub-contract packages Procurement, cost reporting, valuations, variations, and payments Site-based commercial support and liaison with project delivery teams Reporting into the Senior Commercial Manager and supporting wider team as required Requirements: Strong groundworks and infrastructure experience essential Proven track record working with Tier 1 main contractors or developers Ability to hit the ground running in a fast-paced environment Available for immediate start Strong commercial acumen and contract knowledge (NEC/ JCT advantageous) This is an excellent opportunity to work with a top-tier developer on one of the UK’s flagship residential projects.
