Accounts Payable Officer

Your new company A public sector organisation that helps deliverfunding schemes based in Manchester is seeking anexperienced Accounts Payable Officer to join their finance team out as an 6 weeks temporary assignment Your new role As an Accounts Payable Associate, you will play a key role insupporting the end-to-end payments process. Reporting to the Accounts PayableSupervisor, your responsibilities will include: Processingpurchase orders and supplier invoices Handlingstaff cash expenses and company credit card transactions Managingloan and grant payments Monitoringthe central accounts mailbox and resolving supplier queries Uploadingpayments via NatWest and Autopay systems Supportingad hoc finance tasks as required What you'll need to succeed You will have: Aminimum of 1 year's experience in a finance or accounting role Familiaritywith bank cash management systems Proficiencyin Microsoft 365 and accounting software such as NetSuite Strongattention to detail and time management skills Theability to work independently and collaboratively Excellentinterpersonal and organisational skills Acommitment to confidentiality and equal opportunities in the workplace What you'll get in return Competitivesalary of £27,540, Flexible and hybrid working options.
