Senior Engineering Manager

We’re Hiring a Senior Engineering Manager – Oil & Gas! Join a global leader in energy infrastructure! We’re looking for a Senior Engineering Manager to take charge of large-scale oil & gas projects and lead multidisciplinary engineering teams with strategic vision and technical excellence. Location : Europe (Relocation Assistance Available | Hybrid Work Possible) Contract Type : Full-time, Permanent ️ Sector : Oil & Gas – Onshore & Offshore Projects Your Responsibilities: Provide high-level technical leadership and strategic guidance for major oil & gas projects. Supervise engineering operations from concept design through to commissioning. Manage cross-functional teams, including engineers, designers, and project managers. Ensure compliance with international safety, environmental, and technical standards (API, ASME, ISO). Oversee coordination between engineering, procurement, construction, and client stakeholders. Support business development activities including tender reviews, feasibility studies, and client presentations. Track project KPIs and promote continuous improvement across teams. Continuous Improvement: Identify performance gaps and lead efficiency-enhancing initiatives. Promote best practices in design execution, resource allocation, and team collaboration. Project Support & Documentation: Ensure high-quality technical documentation and interface alignment across all phases of execution. Provide clear reporting and decision-making support to internal leadership and external partners. What We’re Looking For: Education : Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Process, Civil, or Petroleum Engineering (or equivalent). Experience : At least 15 years of experience in the Oil & Gas sector, with a minimum of 5 years in a managerial or leadership role. Skills : Proven ability to lead complex EPC/EPCM projects. Strong knowledge of engineering codes, industry standards, and project management frameworks. Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement capabilities. Fluency in English; additional European languages are a plus. Willingness to travel within Europe and internationally as needed. Ready to make an impact?
