Aviation electrical design engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated Aeronautical Electrical Design Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, development, and integration of electrical systems in fixed-wing or rotary aircraft, ensuring compliance with aerospace standards and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities Design and development of electrical power generation, distribution, and wiring systems for aircraft. Prepare and review electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and harness layouts. Conduct electrical load analysis, system safety assessments, and failure mode analysis. Work with cross-functional teams to integrate systems with avionics, hydraulics, and propulsion systems. Ensure compliance with EASA, FAA, and other applicable aerospace standards. Support prototyping, testing, and certification activities. Maintain accurate documentation and configuration management. Required Qualifications & Experience Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical, Aerospace, or Avionics Engineering. 3 years of experience in electrical system design in the aerospace sector. Proficient in CAD tools (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, CATIA, SolidWorks Electrical). Knowledge of DO-160, DO-254, and ARP4754 standards. Familiarity with aircraft certification processes. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
