Marketing Coordinator Location: Paarl, Western Cape Type: Full-Time Industry: Wine, Tourism & Hospitality A leading organisation supporting South Africa’s wine and brandy sector is seeking a Marketing Coordinator to join its team based in Paarl. This role will play a key part in the implementation of a national wine tourism strategy, with a strong focus on digital marketing, content creation , and trade relations . The successful candidate will report to the Wine Tourism Manager and contribute across multiple marketing functions to drive visibility, engagement, and growth within the industry. Key Responsibilities: Website and social media management Content creation and curation Digital campaign execution and performance tracking Engagement with local and international travel trade Coordination of marketing campaigns and activations Brand consistency and alignment Analytics and reporting Administrative support and ad hoc marketing tasks Candidate Requirements: A degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field Minimum 2 years’ experience in digital marketing or campaign management Proficient in website management tools (e.g. WordPress) and social media platforms Strong understanding of SEO, Google Analytics, and online advertising Excellent bilingual communication skills in English and Afrikaans Experience or interest in the South African wine and tourism industry Solid project management and administrative abilities Confident presentation skills and stakeholder engagement experience Energetic, professional, and detail-oriented Valid driver’s licence and own transport Willingness to attend events and trade activations outside of standard office hours This is an exciting opportunity for a marketing professional passionate about wine, tourism, and digital strategy.
