Job Summary This world class leading Bank is seeking an Analyst, Audit Analytics for Group Internal Audit’s Audit Analytics function. The function has used analytics and digital capabilities to improve the quality of audits and efficiencies. The qualified individual will assist in the execution of analytics strategy and help drive innovation in the function. The objective is to enhance the department’s data analytics capability, innovate, and optimize the use of data throughout the audit cycle, including developing effective continuous monitoring strategies. Responsibilities Drive innovation, identify risks, and gain insights across the bank’s audit risk areas using analytics. Contribute to the design, development, testing, and documentation of analytical procedures, including data sourcing, preparation, transformation, and modeling to support analysis and testing. Design and implement effective continuous monitoring and auditing strategies. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data flow and advise on leveraging data in analytical solutions. Interpret analytics outputs and provide insights to audit teams for appropriate actions. Embrace agile methodologies and seek continuous feedback for improvement. Uphold the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations. Identify, escalate, and resolve risk, conduct, and compliance issues collaboratively. Skills And Experience Our Ideal Candidate 5 years of experience in data analysis, preferably in internal audit, risk, or control functions within financial services. Experience in auditing, risk, or fraud is advantageous. Knowledge of data analysis software and programming languages such as SQL, Python, or R. Experience with reporting tools like Dataiku, Tableau, PowerBI. Understanding of analytics techniques and problem-solving skills. Basic statistics knowledge: correlation, regression. Strong project management and communication skills. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Business, or related fields. Technical Competencies Data analysis techniques, programming fundamentals, dashboard design, project management, change management, stakeholder management.
