Job Description

Job Summary: We are looking for a Software Engineer II who is ready to take the next step in their career. This role is ideal for someone who is self-sufficient, eager to grow, and capable of delivering results independently. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain software components in a collaborative and agile environment. Key Responsibilities:  Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to finalize technical requirements.  Write and review specifications and documentation for moderately complex system components.  Translate product requirements into scalable and maintainable software designs.  Implement development best practices, including code reviews and testing standards.  Troubleshoot and resolve bugs and technical issues.  Operate effectively within Agile or Waterfall development environments. Required Qualifications:  Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.  Minimum of 2 years of professional software development experience.  Proficiency in object-oriented programming languages, particularly .NET (C#).  Experience with front-end frameworks, especially Angular.  Solid understanding of data modeling, storage systems, and data manipulation languages.  Familiarity with software development methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.  Basic knowledge of test-driven development and code coverage practices.  Strong communication skills and ability to work with internal and external technical teams.  Must reside in Mexico City and be available to work on-site twice per week. Preferred Profile:  Candidates who are actively upskilling and preparing for more advanced roles within 2–3 years.  Individuals with a background in QA or software engineering who demonstrate strong software development skills.  Self-starters who can work with minimal supervision and take ownership of their deliverables.
