Job Description

Responsible for maintaining and improving the Quality Management System (QMS) in alignment with corporate and customer standards. Leads root cause analysis and implements effective corrective and preventive actions for process-related issues. Supports the Quality Manager in the deployment and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS). Responsibilities Lead problem-solving and root cause analysis processes to address customer complaints and internal nonconformities, ensuring the implementation and validation of effective corrective and preventive actions. Manage internal and external quality approvals (PPAP) and ensure compliance with APQP methodology during new product launches, line transfers, and equipment integrations. Monitor and analyze scrap and indicators, leading initiatives to improve product and process performance. Design and implement quality measurement methods, sampling plans, and statistical controls, utilizing tools such as MSA, SPC, and capability studies to ensure process stability. Support production and quality culture through daily GEMBA walks, layered audits, and operator training and certification to ensure adherence to control plans and work instructions. Drive continuous improvement projects, applying Lean, PDCA, Poka-Yoke, and FMEA methodologies to enhance product reliability and customer satisfaction. Administer and improve the Quality Management System, ensuring compliance with standards such as IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and ISO 14001, and ensuring closure of nonconformities from audits. Promote and execute training programs for quality inspectors, operators, and support areas on control procedures, quality tools, and reliability data management. Participate in risk assessments and project development reviews, including ECO changes, transition readiness (RRT), and transfer activities to validate safe and compliant operations. Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety (EHS) regulations, identifying hazardous exposures, managing chemical substances, and supporting waste classification and reduction. Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Mechanical, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering. 4 years of industry experience. Strong knowledge of quality tools used in the industry. An analytical and quantitative approach to problem solving.
