Brand Ambassador – WyreStorm (Mexico Field Representative) Location: Mexico City, Mexico (Field-based, with regional travel) WyreStorm Technologies – in partnership with its Mexican distributor TLE Distribution – is seeking a dynamic Brand Ambassador (Mexico Field Representative) for the WyreStorm brand. WyreStorm is an award-winning electronics manufacturer specializing in high-quality HD AV distribution and control solutionsindeed.com , and TLE Distribution is a Mexico-based specialist in AV technology distribution representing leading brands like WyreStormcasatunes.com . In this co-branded role, you will be the face of WyreStorm in Mexico, providing both commercial and technical sales support for cutting-edge AV products. This is an exciting opportunity for a bilingual (Spanish/English) AV sales professional who thrives on client engagement, travel, and creating impactful technical presentations (including video demos). Key Responsibilities Field Sales & Demos: Conduct on-site client visits to present and demo WyreStorm AV solutions, and host virtual presentations for wider reach (targeting 6–8 in-person and 4–6 virtual product presentations per month). Showcase how WyreStorm’s products can meet client needs through live demos, technical deep-dives, and Q&A sessions. Solution Design & Pre-Sales Engineering: Work closely with integrators and end-users to design effective AV solutions using WyreStorm products. Provide pre-sales engineering support – from needs assessment and system design to technical recommendations – ensuring proposed solutions are feasible and aligned with WyreStorm’s capabilities. Client Outreach & Follow-ups: Proactively engage in lead follow-up and prospecting activities. Make approximately 30–40 follow-up or cold calls per month to nurture client relationships, gather feedback, and generate new business opportunities. Maintain a pipeline of potential projects and consistently follow up on leads provided by TLE/WyreStorm. Events & Roadshows: Represent WyreStorm and TLE Distribution at industry events, roadshows, and training sessions. Assist in organizing and delivering regional roadshow presentations – including setting up demo equipment and presenting to groups. Recruit attendees (partners, integrators, consultants) for these events through networking and outreach. Be an enthusiastic brand ambassador at trade shows or conferences (occasionally internationally, e.g. CEDIA Expo, ISE ), demonstrating products and building brand awareness. Content Creation (Video & Training): Create engaging Spanish-language explainer videos and webinars that highlight WyreStorm’s product features and use-cases. You’ll be the on-camera presenter for product walkthroughs, technical how-tos, and solution highlights – helping to educate Spanish-speaking audiences across Latin America. Reporting & Team Collaboration: Attend the weekly sales meeting every Wednesday at 9:00 AM (via Teams or in-person as required) to report on your activities, pipeline, and market feedback. Collaborate with TLE’s internal sales and technical teams to align strategies and share insights from the field. Although much of your work is autonomous in the field, you’ll coordinate closely with both WyreStorm and TLE stakeholders for support and guidance. CRM & Administration: Diligently log all activities and client interactions in the CRM (TLE’s Odoo system). Manage your sales pipeline, update deal stages, and ensure that client information is up-to-date. Support other sales operations as needed, such as preparing quotes or contributing to monthly reports. By maintaining thorough CRM data, you’ll help both TLE and WyreStorm forecast effectively and follow up on opportunities in a timely manner. Qualifications & Requirements Experience: Minimum 5 years in the professional AV industry , preferably in roles such as technical sales, sales engineering, or field applications engineer. Strong familiarity with AV distribution, connectivity, and integration solutions is required. Education/Certifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Electronics, or related field is a plus. Industry certification such as AVIXA CTS (Certified Technology Specialist) is highly desirable – the CTS credential is a leading professional qualification in the AV fieldavixa.org that demonstrates your technical expertise and commitment to the industry. Language Skills: Fluent in Spanish and English (written and spoken). You must be able to confidently deliver presentations, training, and documentation in both languages. Clear and professional communication skills are essential for engaging with clients and global team members. Technical Skills: Solid understanding of audio/visual technology (AV distribution systems, HDMI/HDBaseT, AV over IP, control systems, etc.). Comfortable operating and setting up AV equipment for demos. Proficiency with Microsoft Teams (for virtual meetings/presentations) and familiarity with CRM software (experience with Odoo or similar CRM is a plus). Travel & Documentation: Willingness to travel frequently within Mexico (and occasionally internationally). Must have a valid passport and U.S. visa (or ability to obtain them), as international travel will be required for events like CEDIA Expo and ISE. You should be flexible to attend occasional evening or weekend events, given the nature of industry trade shows and client schedules. Driving License: A valid driver’s license and comfortable driving to client sites/roadshows within the region. (Company car or mileage reimbursement policy can be discussed if applicable.) Soft Skills: Self-motivated and autonomous – able to work independently in the field with minimal supervision while effectively representing both TLE Distribution and WyreStorm in a professional manner. You should be adept at building relationships and trust with clients. Excellent presentation and public speaking skills, with an engaging presence for both live audiences and camera. Strong organizational skills to manage your schedule, follow-ups, and reporting. Problem-solving attitude to tailor solutions for clients and handle technical inquiries on the spot. Compensation & Benefits Competitive Salary: Approximately $2,300 USD per month (combination of fixed base pay and performance bonus). This competitive base salary is complemented by incentives tied to your results. Performance Bonuses: Quarterly sales bonuses of up to $2,000 USD per quarter based on achieving sales targets and KPI metrics. Hitting or exceeding your goals means you can substantially boost your earnings. Travel Allowance: Annual travel stipend of $4,000 USD to cover expenses for regional travel, client visits, and event attendance. Tools & Technology: All necessary work tools are provided – including a company smartphone , laptop, and access to corporate email, Microsoft Teams, and CRM (Odoo) systems. You’ll have the technology you need to stay connected with your team and clients. Training & Support: Initial product and sales training will be provided to get you up to speed on WyreStorm’s latest solutions. You will also have ongoing support from both WyreStorm’s technical team and TLE’s team for complex designs or large opportunities.
