DevOps & Azure Cloud Engineer

Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps and Azure Cloud Engineer to join our engineering team. This role is critical for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure, scalable, and efficient cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Azure cloud services, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and DevOps practices, with a focus on automation, performance, and operational excellence. Responsibilities: ● Design, build, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps for seamless software delivery. ● Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and ARM templates for scalable and consistent deployments. ● Configure, monitor, and optimize Azure cloud environments to ensure high performance, availability, and security. ● Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to streamline release cycles and improve system reliability. ● Automate manual and repetitive tasks to enhance deployment efficiency and reduce error rates. ● Troubleshoot deployment and environment issues, conducting root cause analysis and implementing long-term solutions. ● Apply and maintain cloud infrastructure best practices related to security, scalability, compliance, and cost optimization. Required Skills and Qualifications: ● Azure Cloud Expertise: Proven experience designing and deploying solutions using Azure services, with a strong understanding of PaaS and SaaS offerings. ● Infrastructure as Code: Proficiency with Terraform and ARM templates for automating cloud resource provisioning. ● CI/CD Pipeline Management: Deep knowledge of Azure DevOps, including pipeline authoring, build and release orchestration, and environment management. ● Containerization & AKS: Hands-on experience deploying and managing containerized applications with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS). ● DevOps Methodologies: Solid understanding of Agile/DevOps practices to promote cross-functional collaboration and continuous improvement. ● Cloud Migration: Experience migrating legacy systems or on-prem workloads to the Azure cloud and optimizing post-migration performance. Preferred Qualifications ● Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g., AZ-104, AZ-400, AZ-305) ● Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights. ● Familiarity with security and compliance frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, or HIPAA in cloud environments. ● Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Bash) and configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible).
