Job Description
Job Overview: Accounting Firm is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Administrator to join their team on a 3-month contract basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end payroll processes and ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation. This role requires proficiency in SAGE payroll systems and Microsoft Excel, as well as the ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines. Key Responsibilities: Process payroll accurately and on time for all employees. Maintain payroll records and ensure data integrity. Handle payroll queries and resolve discrepancies. Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (PAYE, UIF, SDL, etc.). Generate payroll reports and assist with audits. Collaborate with HR and Finance departments as needed. Requirements: Proven experience as a Payroll Administrator or similar role. Proficiency in SAGE payroll products (SAGE 300 People, SAGE VIP, etc.). Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis). Strong understanding of South African payroll legislation. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Own reliable transport and a valid driver’s license. Must be available to start ASAP
