Senior Python Developer

Are you an experienced Python Developer ready to take the lead on high-impact projects? Were looking for a Senior Python Developer who thrives in solving complex problems, designing scalable systems, and mentoring team members. In this role, youll work on backend services, APIs, data processing pipelines, and cloud-based applications. Youll have the autonomy to influence architecture decisions and play a key role in shaping the direction of our technology stack. Duties: Lead the design and development of robust Python-based applications and services Build and maintain RESTful APIs and data processing workflows Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions Ensure code quality through code reviews, unit testing, and best practices Mentor junior developers and contribute to architectural decisions Skills: 5 years of professional experience with Python Strong knowledge of backend frameworks (e.g., Django, Flask, FastAPI) Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB) Solid understanding of software design principles, architecture, and testing Proficiency in Git, CI/CD tools, and Agile methodologies Nice to Have: Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) Familiarity with data engineering or machine learning workflows Exposure to front-end technologies or full-stack development Should you meet the requirements for this position, please email your CV to it.vacancy@stand-outstaffing.co.za .
