Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Oversee all lodge departments, ensuring seamless daily operations Lead and manage staff across housekeeping, front office, F&B, and maintenance Maintain high standards of service, guest satisfaction, and staff performance Assist with financial and stock controls, cost management, and operational reporting Ensure health & safety compliance and adherence to company procedures Drive team training and development in line with 5-star standards Build and maintain positive relationships with guests, suppliers, and staff Requirements: Minimum 35 years experience in a senior operations or management role in a luxury lodge or hotel Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills Solid understanding of lodge systems, guest experience, and hospitality best practices Proficient in MS Office and hospitality software (e.g. PMS systems) Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail Valid drivers license and South African ID or work permit Willingness to live on-site in a remote bush environment
