Snr Process Engineer

Technical input and support for quotes and tenders is supplied with regards to equipment selection, pricing and costingEnquiry reviews for all enquiries are conducted when required, installation supervision and commissioning as required Market activities are reported on as per departmental requirements Quotation and tender documents are standardised with regards to technical sections Customer requests, queries and complaints are managed within SLA Process technology is supplied adherence to client requirements is ensured where applicable Designated clients are visited as defined by management and schedule Customer presentations on process equipment, operating and maintenance requirements Training for clients, operators and other plant personnel as required Evaluate the need for test work based on client requirements, ensuring that procedures/flow sheets are discussed with R&D and that test work reports are reviewed actioned accordingly. R&D test work reports are reviewed before they are issued to clients to ensure technical accuracy of reporting and to improve standard of reports issued.Mass balances, recommendations and conclusions are to be specifically validated Handover documents (Technical spec/Checklist/Project) are compiled and signed off with relevant stakeholders All expenditures are submitted in time as per company policy QA/QC procedures are adhered to and internationally accepted standards are maintained. All safety procedures as per business and OHSA requirements are adhered to Work of Process Engineers is reviewed as required and junior colleagues are coached and trained as required Degree: Metallurgy/Chemical Engineering/Mineral Processing/Mechanical At least 5 years experience in a mineral processing environment Exposure to Process Plant is advantageous with experience working with Trommels, Sievebends and Static screens Displays appropriate understanding of the companys products and pricing in relation to job output Display of understanding of project execution would be advantageous Displays solid knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology Continuous learner, quality orientated, persuasive, customer focused, good communicator and has high quality work standards Proficient in MS Projects, Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
