Senior Accountant

This role will work closely with the Financial Manager to attend to tasks like financial reporting, budgeting, and reviewing of junior accountants work. Responsibilities: Responsible for preparing and reviewing management accounts. Responsible for reviewing salary, prepaid and receipting recons. Responsible for preparing reconciliations between two accounting systems monthly, e.g. Sitelink and MRI Reviewing VAT201 submissions and YTD recons. Responsible for updating and maintaining cash flows and preparing Budget vs Actuals Responsible for preparing and reviewing adjustment accounts for properties acquired or disposed Responsible for acquisition and disposal journals and capital gain tax calculations. Assist with on/-off boarding of properties on MRI Responsible for assisting with tax planning. Responsible for preparing annual financial statements and assisting with Audit queries. Type of properties in portfolio: Student accommodation, Storage facilities, office, retail, and industrial properties. Required Qualifications and Experience: Bachelors degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 24 years of relevant accounting experience (property or financial services sector is advantageous).
