Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and implement automation systems utilizing Phoenix Contact hardware and software platforms. Lead project lifecycle activities, including requirements gathering, system design, programming, testing, commissioning, and support. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Electrical, Mechanical, and Software Engineers. Conduct diagnostics, troubleshoot systems, and provide technical support both remotely and on-site. Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety protocols, and client specifications. Mentor Junior Engineers and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Required Qualifications & Experience: Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or a related field. 8 to 10 years of hands-on experience in industrial automation, with a strong emphasis on Phoenix Contact systems (e.g., PLCs, HMI, I/O systems, and software such as PC WORX / PLCnext). Proven track record of delivering large-scale automation projects in manufacturing, energy, or process industries. Strong knowledge of industrial communication protocols (e.g., PROFINET, Modbus, and EtherCAT). Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to technical challenges.
