Software Systems Tester

The role requires a mature quality assurance engineer who is knowledgeable and enthusiastic in the craft of software testing and validation and takes utmost pride in their work. Skills Essential o Experienced and proficient in manual software testing and producing defect and incident reports. o Experienced at producing and documenting test plans and executing against those. Advantage o Postman experience calling REST APIs. o Any automated testing framework such as Playwright, Selenium or Cypress. o Direct experience in working with Open Banking / Open Data protocols and services. o Knowledge and experience using Microsoft Azure Cloud Services. o Knowledge and experience of DevOps techniques, including CI / CD. Roles and Responsibilities Your roles and responsibilities will include inter alia the following: Design, build, and maintain test plans for the software stack. Document and record issues and defects. Develop solutions to improve the overall testing within the company and contribute to the body of knowledge. Assist in the building of automated test cases and test recipes. Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to mitigate these issues. A demonstrable track record of adding value to software solutions. Ideal Qualifications You will have a diploma in any software or related discipline. You will have completed and attained one or more certifications in the field of quality assurance. You may have a testing qualification such as ISTQB or TTA/ISEB
