Electrical and Controls Manager

Position Summary Experienced Smart Solutions Electrical & Controls Manager to lead both the Electrical Panel Production Team within our UL508A certified panel shop and the Smart Solutions Design Team. This leader will be responsible for managing a growing and multi-shift electrical panel production operation (~20 team members), as well as a highly skilled Smart Solutions team (~9 members) focused on electrical design, accessory specification, and new product development. This role requires a strategic thinker and technical expert with deep knowledge in electrical design (EPLAN preferred), controls engineering (including PLCs), and cross-functional collaboration. The successful candidate will ensure design accuracy, production efficiency, and global alignment with the company's smart control systems and solutions strategy. Qualifications Required - Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. - 7 years of experience in electrical design and control systems, including EPLAN or equivalent CAD tools. - Demonstrated leadership experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment, managing multi-disciplinary teams. - Deep understanding of UL508A panel construction, control system architectures, and industrial control components (PLCs, HMIs, etc.). - Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills in electrical and control systems. - Language spoken: Spanish & English Preferred - Experience supporting multi-shift operations and/or production environments. - Strong interpersonal skills with ability to interface across functions, including Sales, Engineering, and Global Leadership. - Familiarity with continuous improvement tools (Lean, Six Sigma) and KPI-driven management.
