We are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Full Stack Developer to join our Italian Office in Rome. Main Responsibilities Are you looking to secure a career in a public sector environment? As a Full Stack Developer , you will be responsible for several ESA Earth Observation programme element or initiative websites and related databases, including: Controlling and ensuring the operation of current web and databases, including related system administration activities Supporting new content insertion Developing new tools, improving existing tools, and evolving systems Documenting actions related to web and databases Performing system security actions and applying ESA security requirements Contributing to GDPR-related documentation needed for projects Successful Candidate Your skills: University degree in a relevant field, with at least 3 years of experience in similar tasks Proficiency in HTML, PHP, JavaScript, and MySQL Solid experience developing web applications using Laravel Proven track record in creating custom WordPress themes and plugins Experience working with RESTful APIs and integrating with backend systems Familiarity with modern frontend frameworks such as Tailwind CSS, Vue.js, and Bootstrap Experience managing Linux servers Experience configuring and maintaining NGINX and Apache web servers Competence in managing MySQL and at least one other RDBMS Proficiency in using Git for version control and collaborative development Relevant experience in similar tasks: Experience in systems security and GDPR documentation Ability to work autonomously under constraints, in direct contact with ESA Pro-active problem identification and resolution skills Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively Excellent written English skills Good team working skills Relocation: Rome's central location offers excellent transportation links within the city and across Italy.
