Project Legal Counsel Working Location: Changi Naval Base, and Lavender area Working days: 5 days, 8 am to 5 pm Salary: $6000 to $8500 (depends on experience) Requirements Possess at least a bachelor's degree in law (LLB) from a recognized university Minimum 5 years of relevant legal experience in a law firm and/or in-house, preferably in the construction industry Deep knowledge and understanding of construction laws, regulations, and compliance frameworks in Singapore Job scope Draft, review, and revise contracts to ensure legal soundness, regulatory compliance, and alignment with the company's strategic objectives. This includes negotiating contract terms with external parties to achieve favourable outcomes and safeguard the company's interests. Advise on legal structures for project entities (e.g., joint ventures, SPVs) and ensure their compliance with laws Address international legal considerations, including trade laws, export controls, and multi-jurisdictional regulations Ensure the legal integrity of contracts to protect the company's interests and prevent legal issues Identify and mitigate potential contract risks Support acquisition and maintenance of licenses, permits, and regulatory approvals Negotiate and mediate disputes during contract execution Provide legal guidance to internal teams on contract and legal matters Communicate contract terms clearly to stakeholders Collaborate with departments to ensure cohesive contract management Conduct legal training and briefings for staff Maintain accurate records of contracts and related documents Collaborate with external legal counsel as needed Manage claims, arbitrations, and court proceedings related to projects Assist in developing internal policies for legal governance Participate in ad hoc projects and assignments The Supreme HR Advisory Pte Ltd EA No: 14C7279 SAMUEL SIAW Reg No: R24124745 J-18808-Ljbffr
