Job Description

Requirements: Grade 12 2 years admin / reception experience Basic accounting experience required (debtors, creditors, invoicing) Must be experienced in using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Well spoken, English & Afrikaans, with good telephone etiquette Naturally neat, punctual, detailed, and organised Accurate (accounting, numbers, attention to detail) Good communication skills (written and verbal) Strong organisational and planning skills Should be able to learn and master more complex accounting tasks over time Knowledge of the IT industry will be beneficial Responsibilities: Reception functions including answering of telephones Logging support requests for customers Basic accounting, for example processing of debtors and creditors invoices, ordering of stock, petty cash etc. Stock management Software license management and renewals Managing repairs and reporting of faults with suppliers Keeping track of and following up on supplier job cards and orders Preparing and sending out of electronic newsletters to customers Stand in for other administrative and accounting staff when needed (will need to learn and master key administrative and accounting functions of other members of the team) Please note only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
