Senior Water & Wastewater Design Engineer

We have a client with an amazing opportunity based in Johannesburg, Gauteng . Role: Senior Water & Wastewater Design Engineer Industry: Civil & Water Engineering Level: Senior Key Requirements: · B.Eng/B.Sc/BTech Civil Engineering with 20 years relevant experience · 10 years post Professional Registration with ECSA (Pr.Eng) - Essential · Expertise in gravity sewerage networks, trunk sewers, and pump station design · Advanced experience with hydraulic analysis software (EPANET, EPASWMM) · Proficiency in surge analysis tools (KYPipe, OpenFlows HAMMER) · Water and wastewater treatment works design experience · BIM implementation knowledge (ISO19650 standards preferred) · Working knowledge of Revit, Civil 3D, and design coordination tools · Experience leading multi-disciplinary design teams · Reservoir and water treatment design capabilities · Stormwater management and firefighting network design experience Personal Attributes: · Strong analytical thinker with excellent problem-solving abilities · Proven leadership skills with track record of managing design teams · Excellent verbal and written communication skills · Results-oriented and target-driven approach · Digitally inclined with innovative, future-ready thinking · Ability to work independently with minimal supervision · Strong mentorship capabilities for junior engineers · Proactive in identifying and communicating potential issues · Energetic team player willing to collaborate across departments · Commitment to continuous improvement and technical excellence If you would like to apply for this position, please send your CV through to engineering.vacancy@stand-outstaffing.co.za Alternatively, contact us at XXX-XXXX for more information or visit our website on: www.stand-outstaffing.co.za
