Java Developer

Are you an experienced Java Developer with hands-on expertise in Point of Sale (POS) systems ? Do you enjoy building reliable, scalable applications that directly support retail operations and enhance customer experience? Were looking for a Java Developer to join our client's team and contribute to the development and maintenance of POS solutions that are critical to our client's retail and transaction-based business processes. What Youll Do: Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications integrated with POS systems Customize and enhance POS software to meet evolving business needs Collaborate with cross-functional teams including retail operations, QA, and IT support Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to POS functionality and performance Ensure seamless integration between POS systems and backend services such as inventory, payments, and customer data What Were Looking For: Proven experience in Java development (Java 8 or higher) Strong background in POS system development, integration, or support Familiarity with retail technologies, hardware interfaces, and transactional systems Experience with databases (e.g., MySQL, Oracle), RESTful APIs, and Spring framework Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with excellent problem-solving skills Should you meet the requirements for this position, please email your CV to it.vacancy@stand-outstaffing.co.za .
