Project Development Engineer

Are you a driven professional with 2-4 years of experience eager to make a significant impact in the renewable energy sector? One of our long-standing clients, a highly reputable firm, is expanding its Project Development team and is on the lookout for talented individuals to join them. They have opportunities available in both Johannesburg and Durban . In these pivotal roles, you'll contribute to the full lifecycle of Commercial & Industrial (C&I) and Utility-scale renewable energy projects . While a background in project development is definitely a plus, we're keen to hear from candidates with strong analytical and problem-solving skills from finance, engineering, or related fields . What You'll Be Doing: · Identifying and evaluating new renewable energy project opportunities. · Assisting with feasibility studies, site assessments, and due diligence. · Developing project proposals and financial models. · Engaging with clients and stakeholders, presenting project concepts and solutions. · Collaborating with internal teams (engineering, legal, finance) to drive project success. Who We're Looking For: · A BEng, BSc, or BTech degree in Engineering is preferred, but we'll consider other relevant qualifications. · 2-4 years of professional experience , ideally within renewable energy, finance, or engineering. · You'll need strong analytical skills and a proven ability to learn quickly.
