Title and Summary Vice President, Account Management The APMD Retail & Commerce group’s mission is to develop and strengthen Mastercard’s enterprise-level proposition across key industries: retail and travel, focusing on strategic merchants in collaboration with the Asia Pacific regional teams. The key responsibilities include: Positioning Mastercard as a strategic technology partner, critical to profitability and growth Deepening relationships with key global merchants Developing new global partnerships and strategic initiatives Creating scalable sales and value propositions to drive revenues Providing thought leadership internally and externally The VP, Account Management, is responsible for driving account management across Asia Pacific for key merchant clients, aiming to grow Mastercard revenue. The role involves cross-functional collaboration and leadership to meet KPIs such as volume, revenue, cross-sales, and strategic initiatives. Responsibilities include: Setting and executing revenue retention and growth strategies for merchant clients Budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting Managing performance reviews and relationships with key merchants Leading regional teams across multiple projects Handling administrative and operational issues Representing Mastercard in industry events and building strategic relationships Identifying new market and product opportunities Leveraging Mastercard’s products to increase market share and revenue streams Developing account plans, GTM strategies, and business cases Building relationships with internal and external stakeholders Analyzing competitive positioning and expanding global partnerships Experience / Education Expertise in Retail, Travel, or Digital industries, with consulting or industry experience Experience in strategy, sales, operations, or business transformation projects Background in developing new businesses or startups Experience with business model innovation and global brands Knowledge of the payment industry and digital propositions Results-oriented, entrepreneurial, and proactive Strong business acumen and thought leadership Proven track record with C-Level engagements Strategic mindset, leadership, and communication skills Comfortable with networking, public speaking, and industry panels Corporate Security Responsibility All activities involving Mastercard assets, information, and networks entail inherent risks.
