Electronic Engineer - Power Conversion Products Location: Glasgow, Scotland Are you an experienced Electronic Engineer with a passion for power conversion technology ? We have an exciting opportunity to join a global leader in power management solutions, working on cutting-edge battery chargers for industrial automation, material handling, and electrification applications. About the Role: As an Electronic Engineer , you will play a key role in the design, development, and optimization of power electronics solutions. You'll have the chance to take products from concept to mass production , collaborating with system architects, mechanical engineers, control specialists, and PCB designers to drive innovation in the field. What You'll Do: Improve and develop power conversion products for industrial applications Simulate switching converters using tools like Mathcad, Simplis, SPICE, and MATLAB/Simulink Design and review schematics, magnetic designs, power loss calculations, and parts lists Work with LLC, phase shift converters, and active PFC Ensure compliance with EMC/EMI/shielding requirements What We're Looking For: Degree in Electronic Engineering or related field Experience with ACDC and DCDC converters Strong knowledge of power electronics design, semiconductors, magnetics, and control theory Hands-on experience with oscilloscopes, dataloggers, AC/DC sources, and electronic load Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and work in a structured design process Why Join?
