Senior User Experience Consultant

Senior UX/UI Hybrid (Sunderland) Up to £70,000 My client is a fast-growing fintech business redefining how individuals and businesses interact with their money. With secure, data-driven platforms and a customer-first approach, we’re simplifying financial services with elegant digital products that truly make a difference. What You'll Do As our Senior UX/UI Designer , you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the look, feel, and functionality of our digital ecosystem. You’ll work closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to deliver seamless, human-centered experiences across web and mobile platforms. Responsibilities: Lead end-to-end design process for new and existing features Conduct user research, usability testing, and gather feedback to inform design decisions Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs Develop and maintain our design system in collaboration with engineers Advocate for design best practices and mentor junior designers Balance user needs with business goals in a fast-paced, agile environment What We're Looking For 5 years of experience in UX/UI design, with at least 2 years in fintech or related fields Strong portfolio showcasing digital product design (web mobile) Deep understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies Proficiency in Figma, Sketch, or similar design tools Experience working within agile teams and collaborating with developers Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Familiarity with design for secure and data-sensitive applications is a plus
