Senior Financial Accountant (2-5 Years PQE) - 6-month contract Fintech Business – London – 3 days a week in the office We are recruiting for a fast-scaling fintech delivering financial analytics and credit risk solutions to some of the world’s most sophisticated financial organisations. This role would suit professionals who are 2-5 years PQE, who are looking to step into controller role. Key Responsibilities: You’ll report directly to the Finance Director and CEO, overseeing the day-to-day running of our core finance activities, including: Managing accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and cash flow Overseeing the preparation of monthly management accounts Handling employee expenses and treasury functions Coordinating with UK and US tax advisors for filings and compliance Supporting financial process improvements as we scale Requirements: We’re looking for a proactive, hands-on financial professional who thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Immediately Available to start employment or under a notice period of less than 2 weeks. University Degree Educated. 2-5 years PQE (CA, CPA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) Prior experience in financial control or financial analysis Experience in managing international finance operations and multi-currency accounts would be a plus! A strong understanding of UK GAAP and key accounting principles Advanced Excel and MS Office skills Experience with financial systems, preferably Xero or similar ERP tools Strong communication and interpersonal skills The ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure Eligibility to work in the UK
