The Role: We are in search of a Technical Support Engineer to provide first line technical support to internal staff regarding hardware, software, and application issues whilst assisting in troubleshooting and resolving IT-related problems via phone, email, or in person. In addition, the successful candidate will assist in the setup and maintenance of IT infrastructure, conduct regular system updates and upgrades, plus help in user training sessions to enhance IT literacy and awareness. You will work on-site at our client's offices in Amsterdam in the central business district. This is primarily an in-office role, with some flexibility. The Technical Support Engineer will be required to possess the following skills/experience: 2 years experience in first line tech support. As strong passion for IT and eagerness to learn new technologies. Excellent English verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to summaries essential and crucial information An understanding of Microsoft AD, computer hardware, operating systems, networking concepts, Intune and virtualization. Prior experience within technical support Must be able to work with a positive attitude in a fast paced and culturally diverse environment. Ability to handle complex issues and problems. To be considered for this role you must be: Based in the Netherlands. Due to the urgent need of this role, we are not able to consider anyone outside of the country. Willing to work at the client site, in Amsterdam, for a minimum of 4 days a week Willing to work shifts with the other support engineer that fall between 7:30am and 7:30pm What do Synechron Offer?
