Professional Quantity Surveyor

We have a client with an amazing opportunity based in Cape Town, Western Cape . Role: Professional Quantity Surveyor Industry: Engineering & Construction Level: Senior Professional (4-7 years experience) Key Requirements: · BSc (Quantity Surveying) Degree or equivalent qualification · Professional registration with SACQSP (South African Council for the Quantity Surveying Profession) · 4 to 7 years of proven post-graduate experience in quantity surveying functions · Experience across the full program development cycle (engineering, procurement and construction) · Expertise in measurement of quantities for cost plans, estimates and bills of quantities · Strong background in tender documentation preparation and evaluation · Experience with cost control procedures and financial claims management · Proficiency in preparing and negotiating change orders with clients and contractors · Civil infrastructure experience highly advantageous · Commitment to quality assurance requirements and project data benchmarking Personal Attributes: · Strong leadership capabilities with ability to guide and mentor Candidate Quantity Surveyors · Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills for complex project challenges · Outstanding communication skills for client meetings and stakeholder engagement · High level of accuracy and attention to detail in cost analysis and reporting · Ability to work independently under minimal supervision while maintaining sound judgement · Strong negotiation skills for contractor and client interactions · Adaptable professional capable of managing projects of varying scope and complexity · Collaborative team player who thrives in multidisciplinary project environments If you would like to apply for this position, please send your CV through to engineering.vacancy@stand-outstaffing.co.za Alternatively, contact us at XXX-XXXX for more information or visit our website on: www.stand-outstaffing.co.za
